Molybdenum Shield
We usually use rivets to fix the molybdenum shield. Our molybdenum shield has a high melting point of 2622 ℃. It has high density and excellent mechanical processing performance. We use CNC, a high precision instrument, to measure the holes in the molybdenum shield.
The maximum working temperature of the molybdenum shield in vacuum and reducing gas environment is 1700 ℃. The walls of molybdenum shield are designed to be between 0.5mm and 2.5mm of thickness. The thicker the wall is, the longer its service life will be. The molybdenum shield is heavy and fragile.
Molybdenum shield is used for furnace insulation, and it is widely applied in crystal growth furnace. It helps to align the temperature, efficiency and energy consumption. Similarly, the molybdenum heating sleeve is also used in the lighting industry.
We provide sheets in many geometries and materials for our customers to fabricate shielding or manufacture to customer specifications. We are also available to collaborate with our customers to improve heat shielding designs by leveraging our experience and expertise.
